Team PWX Winners in the Bangalore Water Hackathon

Bangalore
October 23, 2011

Organized by the World Bank and the WSP, the Water Hackathon was a global event occurring simultaneously in 10 cities around the world.

In Bangalore, the event attracted 93 hackers and subject matter experts. Team PWX's solution was selected as one of the three winners by the jury.

Consisting of Parthiv, Rajesh, and Vamsee, Team PWX hacked on the PWX platform to analyze SMS input and extract numerical time series data. This data was then attached to a project providing option to graph and view the data.

In addition, Parthiv created short videos highlighting the event and interviews with a couple of the teams.

On Sunday afternoon, all teams presented on their hack to a distinguished jury and the rest of the teams.
