I have met and interacted with Ashok Ghosh and Nupur Bose on a couple of occasions and impressed with their knowledge on a wide variety of water issues and projects. I am very happy that they can add their objectivity in the review process almost immediately.

The PWX community will benefit a lot from Ashok's involvement.

I have interacted with Prof. Ashok Ghosh in many occasions. First was when he and Dr. Nupur Bose had attended the workshop organized by Project Well in Kolakta in 2004. They came to the field trip to gather knowledge on the dugwell implemented by Project Well. In Bihar, arsenic is prevalent in the ground water and he has worked with UNICEF in measuring the arsenic in the tubewells and was an advisor on implementing mitigation projects in Bihar. They use GIS and GPS in thier projects. I have also met him at a couple of international conferences including at London at the Royal Geographical Society conference in 2007. The expertise of Prof. Ghosh in the field of 'water' is needed and will be higly appreciated. Thank you Prof. Ghosh for joining the PWX team.
