In each home a concrete base for water starion was built with a drain in the floor to a soak away nutrient pit. Fruit trees and various fruit bearing plants will be planted around the pit which is filled with compost to act as a sponge for the gray water

The water project consisted of digging about 5 kilometers of trench to feed water to all of the 54 homes. All of the tubing had to be carried by hand to the trench sites by trails.
