PW74GDP1 is located in the village called Gawdhadharpur of Gaighata and the name of the land donor is Mr. Bhola Biswas. This dugwell was excavated on 23rd February.

On 23rd Feb in the presence of hydrogeologist and geologists a trial to increase the depth of dugwells was executed. The depth of this dugwell is 21 feet. see below for detail discussion

PW74: Success in penetrating the thick layer of sand.
Sand boiling at a depth of 14' -15' is a severe hindrance in deepening the dugwells manully hence during the dry season some dugwells would get dry or have low volume of water. The very first dug-cum-tube well has been implemented to overcome this problem
