Shohratgarh Envirnomnetal Society (SES) is a developmental organization.SES was informally born with issue of local safe drinking water issue in 1985. Currently , It is leading FANSA(Fresh Water Action Network South Asia)-Uttar Pradesh with several implementing partners.

1.FANSA(Fresh Water Action Network) – U.P. With Mari/FANSA India in District Siddharthnagar, Lucknow,Mahoba, Agra, Merrut, Kaushambi,Allahabad, Basti, Mahrjaganj, Bahraich.
FANSA is subsidiary Of FAN Global . It is working on Water, anitation & Hygiene with Local NGO partners.

2.Hope Initiative in District – Siddharthnagar & Gorakhpur. It was
Awareness Programme on Hepatitis B, later on component was awareness on Encephalitis in context of safe drinking water & sanitation.
Target Group- School Children,Year 2010-11

3.Managing Livelihood in flood prone area With Catholic Relief Services (India) in District Gorakhpur. It was Awareness Programme on Japanese Encephalitis in context of safe drinking water & sanitation .Target Group- Whole Community in year 2008-09

4. Rural Sanitation programme with Unicef, in district Siddharthnagar. it was Awareness & Field Intervention
availability of safe drinking water repairing of hand pump
chlorination,construction of drainage, toilet. Target Group- everyone in year 1994-95

5. Awareness Campaign on Environment & Health (includes water & sanitation ) with support of Unicef in District - Siddharthnagar.
Target Group- everyone in year 1994-95.

6. Awareness Campaign on Safe Drinking Water with Unicef in District - Siddharthnagar.Target Group- Everyone in 1997-98

7.Awareness Campaign & Encephalitis in district siddharthnagar with UPVHA, Lucknow.Target Group- Everyone in year 1992-93 & 2006-07

8.With support of Oxfam India Awareness on Safe Drinking Water
in district Siddharthnagar, srawasti, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir nagar & Mahrajganj.Target Group- Everyone in year 2001-2002

Shohratgarh Envirnomnetal Society (SES) is a developmental organization.SES was informally born with issue of local safe drinking water issue in 1985. Over the years, SES has evolved to be a comprehensive NGO which works in the field of agriculture, food security, livelihood, health, education, disaster mitigation, water & Environment. Since its origin, SES has been engaged with various developmental programme. The programmes are addressing issues of children, women, youth & unprivileged group. These programmes are based on community, gender participation & ethical ecological values. Over the years, SES has developed its own working style & culture. SES has started as an organization which works for awareness among citizen. With learning in the years, SES has molded itself in organization working with right & advocacy based approach. SES has conducted several capacity building & programme.

Mission Of Organization is :
1.TO IMPROVE HEALTH CONDITION OF COMMUNITY
2. DEVELOPING A EFFICENT & EFFECTIVE WAY OF EDUCATION, SO EVERY CHILD MUST GO TO SCHOOL & HAVE TWO TIME MEALS EVERYDAY.
3.CAPACITY BUILDING OF LOCAL PEOPLE, SO THEY CAN IMPROVE THEIR STANDARD OF LIVING
4.CONSERVATION OF ENVIRONMENT

SES has some inherent values borrowed from its founder member: Honesty, Trust and Team Work. SES also commits to support to Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact with respect to human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

Over the years SES has established its identity in Uttar Pradesh. Years of Perseverance, dedication, determination of SES towards pious social cause is appreciated in 2011. Economic & Social Council of United Nation accorded SES Special Consultative Status.
