Communications

By Rajesh Shah of Blue Planet Network Posted almost 4 years ago

This is the second time that the communications process has broken down.

The first time was with the first project - prices rose and there was several month's delay.

I hope Safer Future learns that the community is there to support them. That the funder, Blue Planet Run, wants them to succeed. We realize that sometimes bad things happen, and some things will not work and others will need more support.

What is hard to accept is lack of communication. Why don't you report when events (good and bad) happen?

If we react badly, then you don't want us as funders anyway. If we react well, then we can reduce the delays and carry on the work.

I understand your actions the first time, i don't understand it now. Please lets not have this type of relationship.

Rajesh

Indeed. This we must apologize for. During those period we had very serious problems in accessing the internet and so could not reach you timely. We are very sorry about that. It is not our wanting because we believe in keeping to standards and better service delivery and would like to work in a very healthy relationship. We are very sorry. It will never repeat itself.
Thanks
Idriss

Beneficiary numbers

By Rajesh Shah of Blue Planet Network Posted almost 4 years ago

Shouldn't these numbers all be zero? The beneficiaries belong to the other project that will be completed when this shortfall is overcome.

Since the project is not yet complete, they should.
It is our pledge to do all we can in improving our means of communication.
Thanks

Beneficiary numbers

Basically, i don't want the numbers to be repeated/duplicated in both projects. The numbers belong in the other one (whose total should be reflected by both funds).

Indeed the numbers are not duplicated. The numbers here are the totals of beneficiaries in both projects to be completed.
Thanks

If the numbers exist on the other projects (the original funded ones) and this project, are they not duplicated?

They should be zero in one project, shouldn't they?

Rajeshji,
O.k. now i understood what you mean. Actually, i thought we should write the total beneficiries of the original funded ones on this one but since it should not, then the numbers should be zero.
I'm sorry.
Thanks.
