Member Profile: Save Pattandur Agrahara Lake

Located on ECC Road, on Survey 54, Kadugodi ward, it is one of three lakes referred to as Pattandur Agrahara Lake. Of Chola antiquity, it was built more than 1000 years ago. However, its been encroached using false documents since 1996, and has been incrementally shrunk using debris from construction sites all around whitefield and beyond, by the encroachers.

We are a community of residents who have initiated activism to save an encroached lake in our neighbourhood, to save the lake, and restore and revive it.

We are only a community of volunteers. Not an organisation.
