Hi Anna and Benta
I'm so excited to see your profile and anxious to have you join the PWX Network.
I admire all your work with HIV/AIDS awareness! I wanted to know if you had any specific water education or strategies that address PLWHAs? How does it differ with standard water education?
I'm looking forward to hearing more about your amazing work!

Gemma,
We miss you here in Kendu Bay! The way we do education for PLWHAS is not that different than WASH education for other members of the community. We address the audiences differently because in order for people to listen to you and understand what you are saying. You have to take and wear their shoes. If you said you had been tested and were positive you would be listened to more than if you had been tested and were negative. When you talk to 1st graders you have to act like a 1st grader. We always meet the PLWHAS in their local support groups so they feel more comfortable. We talk to PLWHAS about being more susceptible and needing to be more diligent and vigilant about getting safe water because of their weakened immune systems. But, safe water is safe water for everyone so the education strategy is pretty much the same.

Hi Anna and Benta,
Thank you for putting your organization profile on PWX. I look forward to welcoming you into the network.
Could you please inform us as to which specific water technology you saw at the AWWC you feel is most relevant for your needs?
Also, please add your address info in 'Primary Location'.
Thanks,
Rajesh

We are most interested in the FerroCement tank and Rainwater Harvesting because of the problems with water in our community. We also want to implement the Solar CooKits.
