India's largest private donor working since 1931 (commonly referred to as SDTT).

Funded Gram Vikas for three years beginning in 2007.

Have also funded WOTR and other organizations in Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.

The other trusts managed include the JN Tata Endowment which was set up in 1892 by the founder of the Tata group, Jamsetji N Tata, to encourage young people to take up higher studies at some of the best universities in the world. It is the first Tata benefaction in the field of education, and possibly the first of its kind in Asia.
