Each One Teach One (EOTO) has been serving the underprivileged children of India for more than 25 years.
Most of the students come from economically challenged backgrounds, where scarce attention is paid to education, much less on their holistic development.
The each one teach one programme fosters holistic development by conducting various activities and programmes in school like personality development, vocational guidance, dancing, karate, and providing the children with a nutritious snacks. Such positive intervention in the life of a child makes the child feels wanted and loved.
We have spread our activities over seven schools in Mumbai and two in Bangalore. In 2003, we decided to serve the more needy villages and started our activities in four villages around Mumbai. In 2008, we started our mobile library to reach out to ten more villages around Palghar. Today, more than 5000 children directly benefit from our programs every year and 6000 children have passed out of the program and moved on in their professional life as welders, nurses, doctors, engineers etc.
In 2010, we would like to launch our innovative program to reach out to more students in more cities and villages across the country.
