Arsenic free bore-dugwell (PW264) funded by MSSCT/Blue Planet Network
Narrative
PW264 finally was selected in the Keoltali village under the jurisdiction of the Saguna panchayat of Swarupnagar block in the district of North 24 Parganas.. The arsenic concentration of the private tubewell was found to be high analysed by the field kit. The land is donated by Yusuf Mondol. The construction is supposed to start in mid February 2013.

This previous site was cancelled due to nonavailability of sand layer with 20 feet from the surface.

The land is donated by Abdul Hossain Mondol. This site #PW264 is in the Kittipur village under the jurisdiction of the Bagjola panchayat of Baduria block in the district of North 24 Parganas.. The arsenic concentration of the private tubewell of Mohidul Islam was found to be 0.054 mg/L that was tested on 11 December 2012 with the VisuPAsS Visual Portable Arsenic testing field kit. The construction is supposed to start in mid February 2013.
