Narrative
This new site #PW276 is in the Goyalbari Poschimpara village under the jurisdiction of the Deuli panchayat of Chakdah block in the district of Nadia. Pilot test was not done here because sand layer is found at 5-6 feet assessed from the construction of unmetalled road currently going on in this area. Arsenic test was not done also because there are patients of arsenic caused disease lives in this community. The land is donated by Nasiruddin Mondol, an arsenic patient.
-------------------------------------------------
Though there was high arsenic in a shallow tubewell sand layer suitable for the bi-tech well was not found within the depth of 30 feet. Hence this site was cancelled.
