Field visit again to set projector programmer
People are not willing to use the bi-tech well. The panchayet has installed a deep tube well 3 feet away from this well and using the bi-tech well as soak pit. The people are not willing to see the ppt presentation at all. Acting ignorant to the arsenic issue.

Field Visit Report of Farida, Laltu, Biswajit and Shilpi
From the beginning this well was used for other purposes due to high organic smell. The hand pump is stolen. People are using water from a near bu deep tube well installed by the panchayet after construction of the bi-tech well. Closure survey will be done but one more door-to-door campaign followed by another projector program will be done in October and November 2013 in this area where three more bi-tech wells have similar issues. The water of the deep tubewell will be tested for arsenic. If arsenic is absent in the dtw then the community will be encouraged to use the bi-tech well for irrigation purpose.
