we have come here to test the low tech home made filter today. it was successful. the water passed through was clear, removed turbidity and iron.

PW227-the land donated by Monikuntala Debi has a dugwell constructed and now is being ready for usage within few days. The marble slab is to be put up by the workers by 6th july 2012.

Other Issues
Unusual and unexpected issues faced during project execution
The large diameter (10”) pipes for 25 bore dugwells have arrived within 3 weeks after placing the order. The construction team is engaged in conducting site selection procedures while the awareness team is continuing with awareness programs in schools and communities in the areas where dugwells are in operation.
