Sustainability
Creating and measuring long-term impact
We are currently working with the village to develop a maintenance program including the new facilities.
Other Issues
Unusual and unexpected issues faced during project execution
A second phase of this project is planned provided funds can be found. During the project a study was done of the distribution system to the houses. Thefindings indicated that about 90 families were not connected to the water system. We have developed a plan and design to renovate the entire water distribution system to provide sufficient flow to all the houses for a period of 20 years utilizing the old and new springs on line in the village.

During the project the village water committee indicated that they had only given us the number of families connected to the system. In reality many young families living with parents and families not connect to the system raised the total number of families to about 350.
