Samim Rizvi and Team Shift Adopt Water as their Cause and PWX / BPN as their Charity

Samim Rizvi is pursuing two dreams. The first dream is to complete the Race Across America (RAAM) solo. As the first Indian to qualify for RAAM he has been training to complete RAAM 2011 on his second attempt.

His second dream is to steer his endurance ability and boundless energy towards helping people. His Team Shift has chosen water as their cause and the Peer Water Exchange as their charity in India and Blue Planet Network as their charity in USA.

Kavitha Kanaparthy, crew chief of Team Shift, is very excited about the new partnership. As founder of GlobeRacers, creator of endurance events in India, she knows water is an issue. Her events in the Himalayas and Thar desert led her to create small water projects in the event area. "We see water as a problem for both the poor and rich in India and we would love to use the attention that fitness and endurance are getting to help address the water crisis and the unique solution that PWX brings".
