Whitefield Rising hosted a water festival at Jagriti Theatre on the water issues in Bangalore.
The chief guest was V. Balasubramanium, retired Additional Chief Secretary, Gov't of Karnataka. He gave a pointed talk on how Bangalore would need to be evacuated by 2023.
Rajesh presented on the national situation, focusing on the depleting groundwater and its increasing contamination.
Results of a high-level survey on the broad understanding of the water crisis and a detailed survey of individual usage were presented by Vallari Shah.
After the talks, guests were invited to participated in several interactive games created by children on the theme of water.
